Many are walking away from Christian churches today, and for the saint, that can wear you down and mire you in discouragement.

John realized that some would walk away, but rather than stew in lament, he rejoices in those who continue to walk in the truth given to us by the Father. That truth is exhibited by the saints in an overflowing love for the saints and a desire to follow hard after God in obedience. Keith Pond explains.
